Unemployed Dudette

Assalamualaikum. It's been few months since I updated my blog. It's not that I'm tied up with something but I'm so lazy like crazy. Being at home makes me feel like hibernating all day long. I just finished my practical training recently and now I become an unemployed dudette. It's good to stay at home but I need something to freshen up my brain & body. Some stuff that I do so far are cooking, reading, swimming, gardening, house-choring and ... just those stuff I think. Hahaha. Right now I'm so into trying new recipes and new cooking techniques. So far I've made:   Caramel candy. Caramel popcorn. Ice cream. Chocolate and raisin bread. Rice puff . (Lots of trials and errors) which turned out quite good I guess (Good for a beginner like me). I'll share some of the recipes on my blog (As if people will read it). Sharing is caring. I found all the recipes with the help of Mr.Google so I'll attach the original websites so that if you're

Breakouts All Over

My face started to break out in the past 6 years I guess. Even though the breakouts is not too severe, it did and still bothers me a lot. I used pretty much everything to clear my breakouts. I used facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, scrub and what not, but instead of vanishing the breakouts, it's getting worst, worst and worst. I have a very sensitive and dry skin. My face tends to redden easily and get flaky during a cold day and a very hot day. One day, I decided to try caveman regimen. Caveman regimen is a way in which you use chemical in a minimal amount but the best is not to use any chemical on your face at all. I started to go for this regimen for the past 3 months and I guess I can see some improvement on my face. Less redness and just a few breakouts. I throw away my facial cleanser as well as my toner and I only use water to clean and cleanse my face. It's kind of weird because we are used to using our cleanser before we go to bed or when we are getting ready to go

Light It Up Blue

Autism Awareness Light It Up Blue Campaign April is greeting us and it's World Autism Awareness month. Today is 2 April 2014 and it's Light It Up Blue Awareness campaign. It's a campaign to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and people all around the world are encouraged to turn their blue light on or wear blue. I don't have a blue light bulb so I wear blue (my favourite colour! ) today to show my support to people with ASD. This is the least that I could do for them. There will be another campaign called Wear It Blue campaign if I'm not mistaken. Whatever it is, I'm going to wear blue more often this month. Hopefully there will be more eye-and-heart-opening awareness campaigns to enlighten people including me about ASD so that we can better understand on how to deal or take care of people with ASD. Nice blue car.-  AutismSpeaks

My Life As A Practical Training Student

It's been almost a month since I started my pratical training at Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MPSP), Perda. Almost finished the table booking system for MPSP as requested by my big boss. Just a few things to work on before it's deployed to be used by the staff. I work at Bahagian Kaunter Pusat. My place is just behind the counter where people come to pay their bills, taxes and so forth. If you come to Kaunter Pusat and see an unattractive-weird petite lady with a green water bottle and a blue laptop on the desk, that's me. Lol. Ever since I worked here, I can see lots of people with different behaviors and styles the staff have to cope with everyday. Sometimes it makes me smile and laugh within me and hat off to the staff as they are able to cope with some hot-tempered visitors. I just don't know how I'm going to handle those hot situation if I were in their shoes. Dealing with customer kind of stuff is just doesn't fit me at all! Haha. I don't have

FYP Ended

Alhamdulillah. FYP-scary week has finally ended. A big relief because everything related to FYP is finally over. Hopefully I can get a good result for this subject as I don't want to have anything to do with FYP-related stuff at this moment (So over. LOL). So for now, I'm going to have a nice holiday and I can't wait to meet Penang. My degree life doesn't end here yet. I'm going to attend internship next semester and if everything goes well as planned, inshaa Allah I'll be graduating with my classmates. Ameen. Gonna pack my stuff. Bye. Wassalam.
